While constructed to suit the mid-range category with a “4080” profile, through cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing, combined with unique components, fixtures, and reinforcements, the GTElite Lite is the most rigid mid-range cockpit. Through this innovative process, the GTElite Lite in some cases is stronger than conventional “16040” cockpits seen on the market.

In contrast, the GTElite Lite Cockpit utilizes an innovative approach with its 8mm thick Carbon Steel Reinforced Upright Direct Mounting plates. As a result, the GTElite Lite boasts stronger reinforcement and connection between the vertical uprights and the base of the chassis. Furthermore, to eliminate any movement and increase the clamping force between the components, custom-engineered full channel width spring ball T-slot nuts are strategically used throughout the build.
Additionally, through bolts are employed in areas that require higher clamp force and rigidity. The 8mm Carbon Steel Sandwich Plate also provides a connection between the vertical uprights and the pedal plate to lock in and increase the reinforcement between the structural parts of the cockpit. Similarly, the strength continues with precision machined holes to bolt the base of the profile directly for a more rigid foundation.
Included in the GTElite Lite Front & Side Mount Edition are Next Level Racing’s bespoke Direct Drive mounting solution. Additionally, machine-folded and precision laser-cut parts make the Next Level Racing GTElite Lite Front & Side Mount Cockpit a premium aluminum option for racers. This is particularly important for those who demand the ultimate in versatility and rigidity from their cockpit.
Furthermore, the 8mm thick Carbon Steel Side Mounts offer 70 degrees of tilt (40 degrees downward, 30 degrees upward). As a result, this feature gives drivers the option to fine-tune their Elite cockpit for the perfect driving position. Notably, the GTElite Lite Front & Side Mount Edition also includes 6mm Carbon Steel (machine folded & laser cut) “WINGS” and the 6mm Front Mount Bracket Option.

Q: What is the difference between the Wheelplate and Front and Side Mount Edition?
The Front and Side Mount Edition will support Wheel Bases that can be mounted via the front or side, where the Wheelplate Edition can support Wheel Bases with bottom mounting points. Generally speaking, the Wheelplate Edition is the most common style, and most Wheel Base manufacturers will sell brackets that adapt their Wheel Base to suit.
